We are a boutique hotel in Durham that is unique in many ways. Our hotel was rebuilt on the site of the Pearl Mill cotton mill, using recycled brick from the original building. Only the smokestack and fire tower remain, but we retain a sense of Durham’s history. We are participating in the economic revival of downtown Durham and are enjoying all the big things happening around us.

We are unique in that all of our units are full condos, with a separate living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath. All units look out on the beautiful landscaped courtyard, outdoor swimming pool and the historic tower.

We offer a free 24-hour shuttle service to Duke University, Duke Medical Center, Duke Diet & Fitness and other points along the way. Offering this free, 24-hour shuttle service is unique to hotels in Durham and has been a big hit.

We also have a medical rate of $65/night for patients and their families. This low rate, coupled with the condo and shuttle service, means we are the most popular place for patients and their families coming to Duke Medical Center for treatment.

We are popular also with Duke-related guests, including visiting professors and scholars. People coming to Duke football and basketball games often stay with us. We have guests that are going to UNC Medical Center, UNC football games at Kenan Stadium and UNC basketball games at the Dean Dome.

Our rate structure is reasonable and is set up for long-term stay, with rates starting at $80/night and dropping to as low as $55/night for long-term guests. We have Premium Suites, with wide-screen TVs, laminate flooring, upgraded furniture and (in some cases) walk-in showers. These are available for $10 more per night.
